This section aims to facilitate the start of your career and to enlarge your professional network.
PhDnet is building a structure to facilitate networking activities and exchange between practitioners and PhD students.
Besides, according to the results of its recent survey, PhDNet is striving to put in place a placement office and a platform where companies and PhD students could communicate their wish to develop projects and/or applied research.
In its perspective of improvement, Your Future section continuously focuses on three channels:
- Start an academic career:
PhDnet is a partner of the faculty and departments organising conferences (PhD research day?)
PhDnet is building up a network with former PhD students to profit from their experiences and contacts
- Start a career in the private economy or in an international organisation:
PhDnet longs to organise conferences and seminars with business leaders, international organisations and associations
- Strenghten the network with alumnis:
PhDnet is developing a tight network with its alumnis
PhDnet congratulates and wish to reward PhD students completing their dissertation.
