Candidates are eligible for enrolment if they hold a Bachelor degree awarded by a Swiss university in the fields of Management, Finance, Economics or Information Systems, or another university qualification deemed equivalent by the Rectorate in the corresponding discipline.

Applications from students holding degrees in other subjects than will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

The University of Lausanne has a long tradition of welcoming diversity and applicants from foreign institutions are encouraged to consider our programme.

Minimum prior knowledge expected from candidates to the Master of Science in Management

The Master of Science in Management courses are taught mainly in English, some optional courses being taught in French. Therefore a very good command in English and a good understanding of French are required to successfully complete the programme.

No refresher courses are offered. Applicants are expected to have covered the following coursework prior to beginning the MSc in Management programme. The following references represent the required level to start the programme. In the case of quantitative methods, the web address of a reasonably priced online course offered by Harvard Business School is provided.
