Dear Students (or
prospective students):
I take my teaching very
seriously and try my best to deliver my courses in an interesting way. This
goal complements that of my research focus. Without good research I cannot possibly
have good material to teach to you. I try to improve my course based on the
student feedback that I receive, which is why I have made my evaluations
publicly viewable. In this way, you can see if I "walk the talk."
At times, I cannot take
everything into account that students say given structural, systemic, or other constaints. When I cannot adopt a suggestion, it will be
because we are separated by a difference in opinion. I do take your feedback
very seriously and look forward to one day, giving a perfect course (an
impossible, but hypothetically attainable task to which I will aspire)!
Here is a list of course
evaluations that students have completed thus far.
