All courses are given in the dedicated Executive MBA classroom.
In addition, there is a workroom reserved for Executive MBA participants where they have free access to desktop computers, printers and wi-fi services. The room has been designed to facilitate group work and also contains some basic kitchen facilities.
In addition to the dedicated facilities, the students have free access to the libraries on the campus, preferential rates for the sports facilities and language center.
The campus of the University of Lausanne, a 10-minute tram ride away from the city center, is located directly on Lake Geneva.
The campus offers a well-equipped sports facility, including a small marina with windsurfing, sailing and rowboats, a gym, and over 100 fitness classes weekly. HEC Lausanne encourages students to take advantage of their year of study and add to their linguistic capabilities. A language center offering a variety of courses (including French as a foreign language) is available at the university (see www.unil.ch/cdl). MBA class schedules usually allow participants to incorporate such language courses into their timetables.
All these facilities are available within the environment of a highly respected European institution. Indeed, the University of Lausanne represents the continuation of the Academy founded in 1537. Today, the state-run University, together with its neighbour, the Federal Polytechnic of Lausanne (EPFL), form a world-class center for research and learning.
