All participants of the Executive MBA HEC Lausanne | UNIL have significant managerial experience as well as an undergraduate degree.
Many different academic backgrounds are represented in our programme, as you will see in the statistics of the classes. We have journalists, lawyers, biologists, economists, engineers, medical doctors, veterinarians, pharmacists and many more!
The programme is highly international in terms of its content, its professors and its participants. Indeed, participants come from all over the world - Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa - which creates a friendly, multi-cultural and multi-lingual atmosphere. Although our programme is primarily aimed at executives living and working in Switzerland, more then a dozen nationalities are represented and about 20% of the participants take upon themselves to cross borders every other week-ends. Some have even reserved their flights for the whole year ahead.
We encourage participants from all backgrounds and nationalities to apply to our programme.
Class size can go up to 80 participants maximum, but may vary slightly depending on the quality of applications. The class is split roughly 40% Management & corporate Finance, 35% Management of Technology and 25% Healthcare Management.
20% of our participants are women.
