All participants of the Executive MBA programme at HEC Lausanne have significant managerial experience as well as an undergraduate degree.

Many different academic backgrounds are represented in our programme, as you will see in the statistics of the classes. We have journalists, lawyers, biologists, economists, engineers, medical doctors, veterinarians and many more!

The programme is highly international in terms of its content, its professors and its participants. Indeed, participants come from all over the world - Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa - which creates a friendly, multi-cultural and multi-lingual atmosphere. Although our programme is primarily aimed at executives living and working in Switzerland, more then a dozen nationalities are represented and about 20% of the participants take upon themselves to cross borders every other week-ends. Some have even reserved their flights of TGV for the whole year ahead.

Class size

Class size can go up to 60 participants maximum, but may vary slightly depending on the quality of applications. The class is split roughly 50% Management and Finance and 50% Management and Technology. 20% of our participants are women.
